Letter to Major George W. Ford from President Theodore Roosevelt
This typed letter dated July 9, 1900, from Teddy Roosevelt to Major George Ford, addresses Ford at his post as Superintendent of Fort Scott National Cemetery, Fort Scott, Kansas. In the letter, Roosevelt clarifies that he was misquoted regarding the service of Black troops in Cuba.
