As President of the West Ford Legacy Foundation, Linda Allen Hollis—an author, historian, and biographer—has been instrumental in shaping the concept for the exhibit. Her unwavering commitment to preserving African American heritage and making history accessible to all drives this project forward. Under Linda’s leadership, the team has worked tirelessly to ensure that the exhibition not only honors Major Ford but also explores his profound influence in the military, civil rights, and community development.

As Curator of the exhibit, Mark Hollis has carefully chosen artifacts, documents, and stories that portray Major Ford’s service in the U.S. military. His curatorial vision immerses visitors in the emotional, social, and political contexts of Ford’s time with the 10th Cavalry, creating an engaging and informative experience. Mark’s approach ensures that the exhibit not only highlights Ford’s military achievements but also provides a comprehensive understanding of his broader impact on both military and civilian life.

Dwayne Hines, as Exhibit Design Coordinator, oversees the planning and execution of this ambitious project.
