Enlistment Certificate from the Township of District of Columbia for George W. Ford (front and back).

This document certifies that George W. Ford, a citizen of Washington, D.C., enlisted in the U.S. military in September 1867 and joined the 10th Cavalry. He has taken the oath of allegiance and pledged to serve faithfully and honorably in defense of his country. He will abide by the rules and regulations of military service and uphold the values of the U.S. Armed Forces.
