About the event
The Temecula Valley Museum proudly presents the 10th Cavalry Regiment, historically known as the Buffalo Soldiers. This exhibition explores a vital period in American history following the Civil War, when African American soldiers served in the western territories. The exhibit will remain on view for eight weeks following the opening night
Opening Night Speaker:
Linda Allen Hollis, author and historian and great-granddaughter of Major George Ford, will offer a personal and historical reflection on her
ancestor's military leadership, dedication and enduring legacy of the Buffalo Soldiers
Light refreshments will be served during the opening
